DoDuds Apparel Drives
Each year, NNEP hosts DoDuds Apparel Drives at the Embroidery Marts for the Embroidery Network Foundation. NNEP established the Embroidery Network Foundation (ENF), which is a 501(c)3 organization registered in the state of Ohio. DoDuds is the clothing drive program serving women’s shelters across the country through this Foundation. Clothing has been sent to shelters all across the United States, from Wyoming to New York and from Michigan to Mississippi and many of the states in between!
NEW clothing, blank or decorated, can be donated to DoDuds. All collected apparel items are donated to women’s shelters, as they have great need for new apparel in all sizes, for women and children. Imagine what a difference we can make if everyone brings at least one item!
Please bring and donate new apparel (blank or decorated) and other items for families that are staying in women’s shelters. In past years, many attendees brought a box full of items, or several boxes filled with items that were no longer needed in their businesses. Bring your “oops” pile or discontinued items, items that are no longer of value or use to you, but still brand new and completely wearable.
The staff of the NNEP donates 100% of the time to inspect, sort, pack, and ship all of the apparel that is collected during the DoDuds drives. Donated goods are usually processed within two weeks of each collection drive.
If you have any information about a service or facility that would benefit from donations of new apparel items, please email us! We will add them to the list of organizations that we support with these apparel drives.
